They will come running back when we are relevant. Just hang in there 24 months

Davis is having a terrible day. Hope he settles down in the second half.

you got it - we still have a terrible D. All the help went to the offensive side, and really only two freshman receivers are helping on that front. THis is the same as last years team except for those two.

I am wondering if people thought we had picked up some free agents during the open week.

I'm almost ready to yank the redshirt off of Ben Hicks or start giving Darrell Colbert reps and just give either of them the keys to this thing.
Davis won't be around when we finally get it turned around. Hicks/Colbert have a chance to be a part of the turnaround. Davis is a one read and done QB.

Ok, I'm joining this thread because I'm bored. Wife is asleep. I'm listening from a cold, rainy and dark Russia. Worse, the vodka is gone.

Disagree. He's been a college coach all of five years total and never a head coach. I think he's pretty blown away by this program. From the lack of talent to the mentally whipped attitude of the players to the nonexistent fan base...
watching the post game interview at Houston was pretty telling. He's frustrated and the reality of this job is starting to truly set in.
It's got to be tough taking the absolute most negative stance possible on every issue.
Morris knew we were terrible and this was a tough gig. Of course enthusiasm isn't what it was at the outset, but to say we are worse than expected is ridiculous. As bad as this team is I'm not sure we would have gone .500 in a Division II conference last year.
Lighten up, you'll live longer.

ha! Far from absolutely negative. I totally believe that Morris has this thing headed in the right direction and he's easily the best coach we've had post DP.
The reality of this job is setting in for him however. The team hasn't improved as the year has gone on and in some areas we are actually worse. Recruiting is going well and the future is bright. I just hope he sees the light at the end of the tunnel.

It's not a tunnel: it's an abyss.

USF had a wide open guy for 6...and he dropped it.
