11 seed in Orlando vs. SLU
I like this a lot more than where most had us last week(facing 'Cuse 2nd round in Buffalo).

I'm guessing we got benefit of doubt due to weather delays but that didn't stop Louisville.

@ChuckCarltonDMN: Interesting swings on NCAA title odds by Bovada.lv since Jan. 7: Texas 200-1 to 50-1, SMU off the board to 100-1, Baylor 75-1 to 250-1.

Would be a shame if we didn't get the San Antonio draw. Lots of Pony Fans would make that trip

Lose another one we're "supposed to win" and we will. Honestly, I think if we beat both Houston and UCF and win first round of AAC tourney we are solidly IN. (12 seed)

Southern Methodist [20-6 (9-4), RPI: 49, SOS: 160] Let's acknowledge up front just how weird it is to write the following sentence: On Saturday, SMU was upset at Temple. The Owls are surprisingly that bad, and SMU is that good, as to make that sentence possible; the world has been tipped on its axis. Once you get past that essential weirdness, the takeaway is that SMU once again suffered a bad loss on the road, which only solidifies the fact that, other than a win at Wyoming in December, the Mustangs haven't done anything of note away from their own building. Holding serve against Houston at home Wednesday should be straightforward, but on Sunday it's off to Connecticut, which is a huge opportunity to put up an impressive road result.
WE LOST ON SUNDAY

What!?!?
Seriously though, I love some of the "strange" sentences SMU basketball is forcing columnists to write these days.

Just win the conference tournament and remove all doubt.
