I will be happy when SMU has more than one really good 3 point shooter. Hopefully that will be next year.

i'm happy being up against a team shooting lights out threes at the half. high % shots in the paint end up winning games more often in the end. that's why our defensive scheme defends against the 2 and makes teams shoot low % shots on the perimeter.

we need to come out of second half focused and sharp ,don't want to be in a dog fight game

If we were just shooting 62% on layups we would be winning by 15. No way they finish the game over 50% from threes if they shoot that many in the second half. If they do... They deserve and should win as should any team that does that.

Guess what? If guys are wide open and you NEVER adapt your system (zone, match up, etc.) then teams will wear you out if they can knock down shots. There are some teams with great guards that we'll likely play in round one. What makes you think we can stay with them when we couldn't stay with guards from Tulsa and freaking ECU?

Exactly. If Nic can sit down with 5-6 minutes left and not have to come back in, that would be best. I don't want to wear him out.

We saw what UConn did yesterday to a better team than this.
