Looks like Burger Girl didn't last long.
If you tried one, you know why.

"The Double Island" at Island Burger is legit. It should be on Man v. Food

Re: Burger wars, re-visited
I am happy to report I have finally found a really good burger here in Midland. An old drive in callled, "Dixie Burger". A chef bought it and everything is made fresh. My only complaint is the
O-rings are frozen. If you are ever in Midland and want a burger, I highly recommend this place.

Ever heard of a place called "Woodlands"? Me neither, until today.
Check it out. They make a burger that nearly made me cry. Thick, juicy burger with gouda, onions, tomatoes, bacon. I'm getting hungry again just thinking about it.
It was the best burger I have had in ages, maybe years.

Preston & forest ?
Re: Burger wars, re-visited
Yup. Preston and Forest. Northeast corner, facing Forest.
Sensational meal (and word is they make a mean breakfast, too, but I haven't tried it).

Just ate breakfast here. Despite my unruly 2 year old, it was great. Have the stuffed French toast. Also, botttomless mimosas/bloody Marys for $5

Re: Burger wars, re-visited
I was in Vegas this past weekend and stopped in for a bite to eat at, "StripBurger". The place is located in the Fashion Mall across from the Wynn. Big thick juicy patty, the Veggies were crisp and the shakes come with a shot of your favorite adult liquor. A very good burger and I highly recommend this place.
