I'm mentally preparing for the break up. Long nights of drinking, maybe a little cry, then off to the club to meet the hot new replacement league, the BE. Everything happens for a reason. CUSA, it's you not me. You just don't fit my standards anymore.

I don't think CUSA will have any pressure to build back to 12 members. If they merge with MWC, I could see both playing as 9-10 member conferences and having their champions meet in a championship game. If CUSA adds one, my guess is La Tech, Ark State or FIU

If MWC adds one or two, my money is on Utah State and ???

I hope they take us back if we don't like the Big East

Kind of sad as we know exactly where they are coming from.

THE BcS is still a steaming pile of horse manure no matter how it is displayed and I feel their pain.

We truly need a REAL PLAYOFF and let the best team win.

We will never be the best unless given the best opportunities. The BE is our opportunity that will lead us to greatness. Like I said, there are recruits whose deal breaker is us going to the BE. I mean we stay in CUSA, we might as well kiss our program goodbye and focus on academics. Remember CUSA motto: We play for you. Not: We play to win, to be the best, to excel our athletes to professional leagues, just for us silly fans to watch us play people we dont care about. I mean no offense to other CUSA left behinds, but I never had an interest playing tulane, utep, uab. I mean just usm, ucf, and i guess tulsa just because you can call it a red river rivalry.

Still nothing official. Keep embracing C-USA!!!

Will we get to be the homecoming game for all CUSA teams next year? Even when they are the away team?

I will be embracing C-USA this weekend by attending a non-C-USA game between Southern Methodist and Navy and enjoying brats and beer at the law school tent on the 'vard.

We are still in C-USA, and we should beat the Navies this weekend!!

Okay, we were vanquished by Navy. Still no official invite to a bigger conference.

But this week we are back playing in the confines of good ole C-USA. Embrace it!! Hopefully we can beat Houston in classic C-USA matchup.
