Glad we have games like this to rebuild confidence. Lets get a ooc team like this for midway through the season while in the Big East
SEC teams do it all the time.

I wonder if it is the gameplan, or what Tulane is showing to have the ball be spread out to all the receivers today.

June has stated he wants to avoid burning Preston's redshirt.

Why burn it at this point in the season? Unless it is last resort situation

talked to one of the Navasota high school coaches this morning...he said Tulane was going to be our 'slump-buster'...better church that boy up a little more, but it seems he may be spot on.
Good to see balance and maturity in taking the under routes, and JJ and Line getting busy. Defense has been sound as well. FINISH in the second half...foot/neck/apply pressure.

no way Preston sees the field this season; if anyone gets any "scrub time" snaps, it has to be Kaiser
all the other young guys who are RS FR or have already burned their RS season can hopefully see the field today

OK, I guess I don't understand the redshirt rules. He's dressed for all the games, I think, so I didn't think he was redshirted. Personally, I don't understand what he's waiting for. Next year, the starter is probably KP then Gilbert then Printz. If he got some experience maybe he could challenge KP in the off-season as the starter next year and, at the very least, have some experience as a primary backup to KP. What's adding one more year going to do?
But, then again, what do I know.

you can never predict when a season-ending injury might hit any position, but it's, of course, especially devastating at qb. you can't tell if a player will regress or otherwise severely underperform. having extra qb's to insert is always a good thing.

It's also hard to anoint someone a starter when they haven't even set foot on campus and are a junior in highschool. So much can happen

I agree with CharlestonPony then. Keep out the valuable guys and play as many of those who've already burned their RS as possible -- would like to see some Oline experience along with some younger receivers. Amazing that Kaiser is that bad?

I want to see some more rumbles and fumbles from Wimbley.
