Interesting how the team controlled the tempo & played a decent 1st half.
A mini preview of playing in the BE? Memphis has the type of athletes SMU will see on a regular basis in the new league. Which will we see more often? The 1st half, or more of the 2nd half.
Really disappointing game today from Williams & Giles. These are the 2 guys that have to "step up" in big games & play to their potential.

One of the things that we here at SMU like to promote is the quality of the education (and the hotness of the girls). Having you post on our website is either embarrassing for SMU (if you graduated from there), or is likely to result in people thinking that you did and that you are representative of the education that SMU delivers. This makes me guilty of gross ignorance by association. I can't have this.

Please either go away and stop disgracing my university (or at least one of them), or put a disclaimer on the bottom of your posts stating that you did not attend SMU and that your ignorant babble was learned elsewhere.

Then, once in a while, I come across somebody trying to laud themselves over others. So, and this is purely to make myself feel better, I like to point out how pathetic that is.

BFrog is not a defensive liability. Give examples. Who are our best defenders this year in your mind Click Clack? We had TWO scorers last year with Rob and Papa. Harp was like all the other guys on the team that won 20 and averaged between 2 and 6 points per game. He was at least smart enough to pass up open shots for a BETTER shot and knew his role. He played multiple positions on defense and could screen, cut, guard, etc.

He as well as ALL THE 2010-2011 team was much more mentally tougher than this years team - not near the talent. I actually wished we had Justin Haynes back - he couldn't shoot either but had the tough mental toughness and knew his limitations. He could play defense and make layups. Loved watching him play. He was a player without a position and average at best talent but TOUGH young man.

watching Haynes struggle to hit 50% of his FTs was painful. He was not a guy you could afford to finish a game with
