We have a long way to go to even be competitive with TAMU. We are looking good, but we need to totally dominate this team to prove that we are improving. Hate to pick on Parks, but he is going to be a real target. He plays off his man too much, is too slight of build and lacks the strength to hold his own on running plays or with big receivers.

Sounds like a crazy end to the half!! I'll take it!!

I seem to recall him yanking KP in the first game last year and we never really saw him again.

it is not a pretty game. Based on a game and a half, I think SMU is lucky if they win four games this year. Our secondary is not good and offense still struggles. I hope the light will eventually turn on and the team gets it together.

although we don't have this game in ice I hope jj will play a lot of the 2nd and 3rd team. I think we lose a lot of seniors next year and they could use the experience.

I started thinking the same and then thought that it seems the starters need to get used to playing together since they don't seem to be very cohesive....and that's a shame!

after last week how can anybody expect a big crowd??

Given who we have out there I think we already have a lot of 2nd string, Margus is only out there for st, and DJ is playing. Seems like there are others as well.

This is really ugly.

Parks is still trying to figure out if he can trust his safeties. We already had Reed trying to cover someone 50 yards down the field with no safety help. If Parks can trust the safeties, he will be able to play closer.

GG is freaking out with the pass rush. Yes, the blocking is bad, but he is making it worse. JJ will keep him in there and see if is starts clicking. They wont give up on him until the bye before TCU.

June will continue to try and get the passing game going in the second half, because he knows if it doesn't click, we are going to get killed against A&M. Preston is not the answer, we need GG to play.

I had high hopes for GG but am now thinking ut knew more about gg than we did.....hope I'm proved wrong.
