Temporarily.

Honestly, I'm not interested in the Air Raid. Dykes is a losing record coach.
Chad should have stayed at least 6 years.

If we were all tired of the Morris clichés, I can only imagine how tired of them the players were. Morris didn't want to be here. I'm glad to have Sonny Dykes.

yeah there certainly aren't any Sonny Dykes clichés on the internet-in fact he (and SMU Football) are almost invisible more than 3 weeks after he was hired. So much better

Yet still signed a higher rated recruit in 1 week than chad did in 3 years. #ruetheday.

Right, for smu football related social media, our players past and present calling out the staff that bailed will have to do

except the kid that decommitted from SMU to sign and follow Morris to Arkansas had a higher rating plus if we are going to count transfers then Trey Quinn was much higher than all of them-same with Rafe Peavy

By that measure June Jones left Chad Morris in the dust with the addition of Garret Gilbert and the guy didn't even recruit.

Levingston rated 5.7. Woods and Robinson 5.6. Stallion fuzzy math.

Rivals is still in business?

Woods 247 rating is a composite of 4 different recruiting rankings including Rivals-I wouldn't be surprised to see Rivals jack that rating more. I also expect Temerik Williams to get another bump-as the Top RB in Greater Houston according to Vype and the Houston Chronicle he needs to be upgraded. I actually think he's the top prospect on our list and said so before the recruiting services caught up. He should be in the 5.7 and .8700+ range too.

Sonny will need a Kirby Smart at DC, to fix this disaster of a defense. The Chadster did great things on offense, but special teams and defense are dumpster fires.

Defensively, I think the following players can play: Onu, McQueen, Robinson, Clemons, Mitchell, Hailey, Moore, Gary, Neals, Scott, Davis, Wyatt. We have several others who were forced to play too soon, or were good recruits on the DL who should be ready next year: Davis, Sutton, Guy-Robinson, Biggurs, McLaurin, Badejo, Jones

Given the right staff and the right scheme, I don't think our defense is as far off as people think. There are players in there every bit as good as what we had under Mason. We don't have a Star or a MLB, which absolutely killed us.
