So..... just to clarify:

You are not going to jump in and let the sharks take you?

When we miss the NCAA's again this coming year, fire Jank and hire Pitino. We need his recruiting and coaching skill and just as important, his notoriety...............I'll be back in on tickets if that happens.........

He is the only coach to lead three different schools (Providence, Kentucky, and Louisville) to a Final Four. Pitino is one of only four coaches in NCAA history (along with Dean Smith, Mike Krzyzewski and Jim Boeheim) to take his school to the Final Four in four separate decades, one of only three coaches (along with Roy Williams and Jack Gardner) to have led two different programs to at least two Final Fours each, and one of only two coaches (along with Williams) to have led two different programs to at least three Final Fours each.

Bump.............

Moody would once again sell out of season tix and 4/5 stars would be lining up. I don't care about his past, just win.

Not if you were in an area that could that could realistically be a popular price point.

Section 205, in the first 6 rows, on the aisle closest to center court. As a young alum, I did the priority points math, and it didnΓÇÖt look favorable for me keeping such good seats. In fact, SMU told me it was unlikely that IΓÇÖd be keeping my seats even if I bumped my donation up to the next level beyond what was required with the per seat donations.

Out of interest do you know what people paid to take your seats in the end?

I laugh at the emails I keep getting from SMU saying I still have an outstanding invoice for my previous basketball seat donation...

I also love how the site doesn't give you an option to change your donation.

I got an email telling me I still owed for my Mustang pledge (which had been paid!) and they were withholding my football tickets (which I had already received in the mail) until I paid it! What's going on with those people?

They are a well oiled machine. Probably reckon that there is a chance that some people will pay it anyway.

Where I come from thatΓÇÖs called a scam.

Judge, this morning I asked someone who would know what the deal was with that. As you inferred and others have said, stuff like that shouldn't happen, and I agree.

Here's the response :

There was an errant email that was sent out a few weeks back.

It was originally intended for anyone who still had a balance due on their football tickets or donation requirement for football season tickets. Unfortunately, the recipient list also pulled balance dues for things like basketball parking passes and donation requirements for basketball season tickets. Obviously, those aren't due yet, but the email went out with some of that bad information.

It was addressed internally, and the issue was corrected.

Thank you for the update as I received one of those emails as well and was a bit confused.

While I'm sure you could've gathered the gist of the post, I guess I should've been paying more attention to editing posts than tailgating and pregaming. Edited now. Thanks!
