Well, the team has grit. They don't give up.

Team showed their grit against Tulsa and Houston, and this game. Just couldn’t make the needed big plays on defense and special teams got us. Credit to the Memphis QB who played a great game.

So when do we announce the firing of the special teams coach. He cost us our perfect season.

Could have gotten real ugly after we went down 22, glad the team kept fighting until the end.

If you want to play with the big boys, you have to understand a team is offense, defense and special teams. This special teams is detrimental. At best you’d expect neutral impact but SMU lost because this special teams is as bad as I have ever seen. I can’t imagine top high school teams being worse.

I'm proud of how we hung in there and were close enough win at the end. This team does NOT give up!

Played with a lot of heart. Have to be proud of them for their lack of quit.

Buechele with 450+ yards passing.

If they can go 3-0 for the rest of the regular season, that would be quite impressive.

Is there really a special teams coach? Not kidding but this was a joke of a performance.

Awful special teams and lack of big plays on D sank us. We could have pulled it off against an average team but Memphis was too good.

Special teams. Seriously. 100 other teams do it better than us.

Proud of the fight of this team! Turn the page and look to go 9-1 next week!

No one can say we lost because Roberson was out, at least.
