I'm sure it was tough to watch the conclusion of the game because we had it there to win. But when you have a new squad and chemistry and trust with each other is probably still lacking, you can have outcomes like this.
Not making excuses. But I would hope that similar games in December or January, we will finish them.
I can't believe I'm the patient one. What's the matter with me?
Just one game, yes it sucks that we should have won and let it slip through our fingers, but basketball is different, these early games are tune ups for conferernce paly. I want to see the team keep improving, getting the young guys more experience, get them to learn the system, then by conference play, hopefully we can make some noise like we did last year.
I still think this will be a pretty good team by the time January rolls around. We are going to have some growing pains though.

Aren't you the same poster who wants to fire June? When did you get your reasonable logic back?

How about a few days? We have a great matchup with Florida something coming up, playing the same time as the fball game.
Only 3 more games till Williams/Smith. I'd like to think we'll hear on Russell in that stretch too. 3 games in a month lends itself to plenty of practice.
Oh yeah, Brett Comer of Florida gulf Coast is really good. He played opposite Austin Rivers in high school and was largely slept on cause Rivers never passes. That said, he leads FGC as a frosh, in most every category.

Definitely need practice. Assists backdoor cuts, 3 point shooting, and FT shooting. Can't wait for Smith/William for board help.

Isnt it 5 games? We have a couple more "consolation" games in the NIT, dont we? I think, not sure, we get the loser of tonights Oral Roberts/UA-Pine Bluff game, next monday. Not sure, after that, but I believe there will be another game on tuesday, opponent TBD.
Comer is doing well, and FGC has alot more height than the last time we played them. I'm just starting to look at them, but they may not be quite as big a patsy as previous years.
Ha, I know the NIT lists 'consolation games', I just figured we were out lol. I'd love to play a few more in that tourney. I haven't quite cut all the way through my wrists yet.
How do we find out, X?
As for FGC, they are definitely improved. Comer was a kid Creighton brought in late last Spring, just didn't work out. I think there is another kid in their '11 recruiting class that was a handful in high school as well. I remember being really impressed by their class.
There should be an announcement tonight, after the last of the 2nd round games. I think we will be playing the ORU/UAPB loser, and the game may be in Moody, Monday night.

Not even close to the same thing.
First and foremost, we don't pay Doh $2 million a year to put a .500 product on the field, while thumbing his nose at SMU tradition and espousing his love for Hawaii any chance he gets.
Now, I will agree that both run out of date offenses that aren't that effective
