Frustrating defense but fun game and good win. Gilbert was unbelievable.

Key play of the game was when the referee warned SMU for playing music during the play calling. From that point on the crowd took over and was very loud for its small size. Even the older ( like me) folks were screaming from then until the end.

Why you would bet on SMU to cover a 2 touchdown spread is beyond me.

Just imagine if we had a packed house every game and the fans got into it. I truly believe they helped us win this one (and GG pumping up the guys before that final drive before the half).

I'm telling you - with the right staff, SMU could be one of the hottest tickets in the college football world (small stadium, small private school whipping up on everyone in big D . . . now I see why we were targeted in the 80s . . . imagine us doing it, but doing it legally this time?!? ED there, GW there, Deion, and all the bball guys LB can bring . . . potential is all there).

I will not leave this earth until I see SMU playing for the national championship at the Rose Bowl (I can die the next day, though, it's ok). :-)
