As Baylor's Motley stated so succinctly, "This is what happens when you can't handle your business."

Re: The Big Dance-NCAA Tournament Games
and so the SEC, thought to be having a down year, advances 3 teams to the elite 8 with one guaranteed spot in the Final Four...and of course if it wasn't for that biased officiating (right Myrdel?), Arkansas would have beaten UNC and the SEC would have4 of the last 8 teams with 2 locks for the Final Four

And, a lot of luck!

After Oregon won last night, in the studio they were giving Kenny smith credit for most of his final four picks: gonzaga, Oregon, unc and smu. Also showed clip of our presser and Ben comment. Painful but relevant.

The fact that SC is going to win the region we were in, playing a similar path to what we would have had is upsetting.. We are a better team (in my mind). Just didn't have the depth and everything went wrong in the first round.
Story of being an SMU fan.. hopefully next year. Kudos to South Carolina they have played very well in the tourney and are very physical and good defensively.

Re: The Big Dance-NCAA Tournament Games
Credit to S.C. for playing the toughest D I've seen in this tournament. They are playing their best basketball of the season right now and that's what it takes. Could say the same about KY but we shall see how they do against UNC. Can't give S.C. enough credit for playing through their seeding and beating the 2, 3 & 4 seeds in the East to get this done. I had hoped this year's SMU team was talented enough to accomplish that sort of feat, but it obviously just wasn't the case. Let's just hope we can establish a program that will always participate in post season tourneys and continue to give us hope

In my mind we are/ were capable of SC's current level of play but a) didn't and b) lacked the depth for a sustained run like that.
We are getting there.
Two interesting thoughts while watching that game:
1) Their conference rubber match was at a higher level but similar feeling
2) Thornwell and Semi in about the same draft range but Thornwell has a heck of a stage right now. Silver lining to an early exit?
Party at The Wopper!

Classic finish to UNC v Kentucky. Looks like UNC has won with .3 despite 3 Kentucky 3s in last minute

Frustrated that UNC makes it to the Final 4 again with no repercussions from the NCAA.

Guess their team gets another "free" week out of classes.
Seriously it is disgusting. I hate Kentucky but was rooting hard for them today!!!!!
