Really tough beating a Top 25 team on the road. TCU was ranked when we beat them but they obviously are not a Top 25 team. Memphis is a legitimate Top 25 team. We might be as well, depending on how we finish this season.

Buechele with 450+ yards passing.

If they can go 3-0 for the rest of the regular season, that would be quite impressive.

Yea 11 win seasons usually are expressive.

Proud of our team for fighting back when they were down 22 in the 4th. Could have simply mailed it in but instead got back into it at the end.

Only other comment is we need to figure out how the center stops snapping so many balls too low!

Buechele is a stud. He did everything he could and so did the offense. You cant come into game like this and give up that kind of field position (plus a kick return) and expect to win. Dykes - hire a special teams coach and recruit the key positions or never be better.

I said this elsewhere, but...

We still donΓÇÖt have the depth across the roster to fill out a decent kick coverage team or the skill guys needed on special teams. ItΓÇÖs been obvious all year but our offense has been so good that weΓÇÖve been able to overcome it. The difference in this game was field position and their kicker. Depth matters. A punter matters. A kicker matters. Expect this staff to fix it.

But we also should remember that we stand a good chance to finish 11-1 and ranked. And we could still win the division with a little help.

For my money, the goal is now 11 wins total. Anything more is a bonus and less is a disappointment.

Big night for Proche who is now tied for most career TDs and most consecutive games with a TD. Should hold both those records before he's done and is closing in on career receptions records as well.

AAC Championship is still the goal. Memphis should have lost to Tulsa. They will lose another one. Just win out from here. Go Ponies.

I am proud of this team.
They didn't play their best, not even close to their best, got whipped for most of the game, but the team never quit.
Winning 2 more conference games at this point would be mild disappointment based on 8-0 start,
Although that assessment would probably be a little unfair..

but no doubt, winning out would great!

We are a good offense without RR, with RR we have an elite offense. That 11 looks like he has the potential to be the next in line to be a great smu WR

Proche was Proche and RR played well. Others were inconsistent but made some big plays. This offense has a lot of weapons an we need all of them because our D gives up a lot of big plays

Never. Quit. I've never seen a team persevere like this one does. I am so, so impressed with these young men. I credit Sonny for cultivating this environment of grit and maturity.

Not to beat a dead horse re special teams, but is Sonny publicly addressing the issues?

Also, why not just have the ΓÇ£kickerΓÇ¥ kick the ball out of bounce on kick offs. It will go to the opponents 35 yard line, will save us at worst 10-15 yards and at best saves us from the other team returning it for touchdowns...just a thought if I were the ST coach.
