With both Colorado and BYU losing, the Big 12 is wide open. IΓÇÖm thinking ASUΓÇÖs win over BYU prevented BYU from leapfrogging us. If Army somehow beats ND tonight the Big 12 is at risk of missing the 12 team Championship should Army and Boise win out. I know many believe the ACC is a one bid league but I still think we have a slim shot should we lose in a tight game in Charlotte. Even more reason to remain focused on a good Cal team next weekend.

IΓÇÖd rather be the ACC than the Big 14(?) for sure. And Army is actually hanging in there so far. Great goal-line stand just now, down 14-7.

Damnit BYU, it would have helped us if you'd won.
Gophers can't quite pull it out, losing 26-25.
Boise tied with a junk Wyoming team at the half, 10-10. Would LOVE to see the Cowboys win that one.
Auburn starting to pull away from A&M, 21-7. That'd be awesome to see, too, even though I can't stand Freeze. That, and OU is hanging with 'bama. REALLY want to see 'bama lose.....

Man, Ole Miss/Boise/Alabama losing on the same weekend would be excellent for us.

OU scores right before half, 10-3. Nice.
Bosie State turns the ball over on downs, still tied at 10 in Laramie.

DAAMMMMMNNNNN
OU with 2 interceptions to begin the second half, one a pick six, to take a 3 TD lead against the Tide!
'bama is on the ropes....
Wyoming kicks a FG to begin the fourth quarter, 13-10 Cowboys.

Boise does not matter.
2 SEC losses do matter. (you'd think)
Indiana getting blown out matters ( you'd think).
If we are not in the top 10 next week then the fix is solidly in.

We're basically one spot out of the playoffs and, assuming we win next week, we are going to have to play a top 10 team to get to the playoffs so every team matters at this point. We need to be solidly in the top 10 after next week if we want to have any chance to get to the playoffs should we lose to whomever in the ACCCG.
Damn this A&M/Auburn game is good. Going to 4th OT.

When you're a G5 team like Boise, barely winning against Wyoming is almost the same as losing. We should know.
With the exception of BYU losing, yesterday was a fantastic day for SMU football.

And even BYU losing has a silver lining; a lower-ranked, 2-loss-at-best Big 12 champion is guaranteed after BYU lost yesterday.
