btw, Shawn was excellent today. One of the best games he's played for us.

We win that game in Dallas.
Make a couple jumpers and a couple free throws. Don't dribble off your foot.

will be fun at Moody for sure. We will continue to grow and learn. Hopefully curb the bonehead moves. Ben Moore is huge off the bench. Kennedy showed he can be a beast.
Re: Official: SMU vs. Louisville Thread
Bad day at the FT line, Nic Moore had his worst game of the year and so did KF. Having 7 days off did not help. Let's keep moving on.

Will be sad to lose Louisville as a conference mate. It's a good road trip.

FT% was almost identical both in percentage and shots believe it or not -lost 52-51% but we actually outscored them by 2 from the Line

Yeah that was surprising to see. But timeliness counts in FTs, too. Cutting the lead would have helped at certain points.

This
Ben Moore was a top 150 player and Mr Basketball finalist in the state of Illinois. He was a not some low rated player.
The reference was that he looks much better than the McDonalds all-American on the team......

Both KF and NM had bad games. It happens. Glad KF is here as he has opened up the door for other local kids to come to SMU. Glad we had him for UConn and Wyoming. Not ready to start downing the kid since he has been a good team player and very enthusiastic encouraging everyone.

Re: Official: SMU vs. Louisville Thread
Nic obviously wasn't himself today. And that has a direct influence on the 3 point percentage. His dribble penetration allows a lot of catch and shoot opportunities that just weren't there today.
Despite not having a great game, I like that KF recognized that he needed to step up and try to do more offensively with NM off his game. Good recognition by him and hopefully the next time it happens we will see bigger results.

Never know. I like SMU's chances to end up (one day) in the AAC.

For some strange reason, one of the few universities that REFUSE to use their school colors: Harvard Crimson & Yale Blue.
