Bryson is going to have to make a couple more starts and finish well to prove his injury is not going to affect his play. Still a risky captain's pick at this point given his inexperience.

Bryson among the leaders at the Northern Trust this week...currently 2 shots off the lead whereas Kelly at plus 2 is going to need a strong 2nd round to make the cut

Bryson just 2 shots off the lead after 2nd round. Kelly misses cut by 5 shots. Hopefully Bryson can hang until the finish. Would be a great win considering how strong a field this is.

Some tough decisions to be made but hopefully he gets along well with that 1st group in because I have to believe team chemistry is going to be an important consideration. I'd like to see him keep winning to make himself a "no-brainer" captain's choice.

Interesting comment by announcers about Bryson adding to his quirky reputation. Said "he is right handed, signs autographs left handed and backwards". That sounds like it would be hard to do!
