ItΓÇÖs amazing that schools with law schools do things like this.

Further with Arkansas, taking a page from TennesseeΓÇÖs book, they named a new AD yesterday (TulsaΓÇÖs) and then today say it was not true and they are still vetting candidates.

Florida State is such a better job than A&M, but for that money who can blame him?

Great post. I like this guy.
and the really sad thing is that an SMU alum- Bill Koehler- was one of those responsible for tcwho making a commitment and moving ahead with their fball program.

Would love to see Sumlin take the FSU job and win a national championship while the ags finish 7th in the SEC west. No matter how much money is spent aggies still gotta be aggies (except now they're poorer aggies).

I donΓÇÖt understand what you mean by that. UT fans are laughing at A&M fans for committing so much money to a coach and a huge buyout to their previous coach. SMU fans can objectively acknowledge that TCU has the most consistent and stable winning football program in the state. It doesnΓÇÖt mean we are cheering on TCU, simply that we can see things as they are.

Promptly AFTER Jimbo signs Aggy loses No. 1 recruit
Not that great a hire-definitely overpaid-10 year contract in SEC West is Aggy-dumb

I will. It's not like he was going broke in Tallahassee, and Tallahassee vs. College Station is no contest.

Norvell, Frost and Kiffin with quite the first half auditions today. All of them put up about 375+ yards total offense. And I can hear-but what about the defenses. In today's game you have to have one of these offensive gurus-they make your team cool-then you go get the defensive players who want to play on cool team.

All three of these coaches deserve great jobs. UCF, Memphis and USF could ALL arguably be in the Top 15.

Agreed. Anyone remember JJ commenting about that being the blueprint for rebuilding a program? Score a lot of points, be exciting, get more people to come watch your games and start outscoring your opponents to establish a winning record...then hope some of the more highly sought after defensive recruits will take notice and want to join in.
