UConn doing their part to tighten the AAC race. Our guys are only one game back with so many big games yet to be played

SMU and Tulsa have the easiest schedules from here on out... but are also the most likely to lose a road game they shouldn't. Really is going to be a fun stretch run.

I still think Memphis and Wichita are going to finish as the 5/6 because of schedule... but are also likely locks for the NIT. I still think SMU needs to finish in the top 3 to see the post season, because Memphis and Wichita will be picked ahead of them for the NIT. If Houston and Cincy finish 1/2 and go to the NCAA, who ever finishes fourth between SMU and Tulsa is screwed.

Here is an observation based on nothing other than a couple of fine Tequilas....

Teams perceived as good when the schedule was made (WSU/Memphis) got screwed in scheduling.
Teams perceived as garbage (SMU/Tulsa) we’re gifted easy schedules.

I think Tulsa may have suffered a mortal blow with the ankle injury to Rachel unless he returns within 2 weeks. Tulsa schedule is forgiving though in next 3 games. Tulsa board reports he had to basically be carried to locker room after the game-well after the injury. Up next;

Baked in fire stone kilns. The process and selection of the barrels are key. I'm not a big fan of the blanco as its filtered and ready.

And we thought a road loss at Temple was bad! Memphis losing at home to USF knocks them out of any chance for an at-large bid so they now join SMU as AAC Tourney hopefuls, or more likely NIT hopefuls.

And makes our only "decent" win of the season look even worse.

Will be interesting to see how UConn looks today vs Cincinnati. I will not be surprised if they come in to Moody and whip this SMU team much like they did to Tulsa
