We out rebound Rice 41-25. Probably the key to this victory though it will not be recognized. Great job to get the ball.

Great win! Rice was sky high after beating Memphis. The team hung in there & won a tough game. In the past, its an L, would have folded in OT.
Fun watching this team learn how to win in a variety of ways.

Nych played with 4 fouls most of the the last 7 minutes of play. Once again, FT really helped us. uper job from the Ft and it hurt Rice, helped us. Great win in a crucial part of the season.

When did the last part of Feb nnad first part of March have any meaning for us?

This is continued validation if Nyakundi and Dia don't bring it every night, this team has no chance.

They combined to score 46 of the 76 points or nearly 61 percent.

Good game all in all. Sure, we blow a lead and had to crush Rice in OT But we did win. Nice work SMU with Nych in foul trouble for most of the the 2nd half.

A 10 point win is a 10 point win. I'll happily take that every night of the week and twice on Sunday. Spread was only -4.5. Great way to respond in overtime and walk out of there with a solid W. Four starters had 4 fouls in OT.

I might be willing to look the other way on Pats. But I agree the mirror applies to Clink and Haynes. Their production -- or lack thereof -- is unacceptable.
