For some reason ESPN does not seem to be able to calculate RPI correctly despite the fact it is straight forward math. The ncaa puts out their RPI every day (or at least every weekday, not sure about weekends) and live RPI always matches it.

I do not believe this one includes last nights game.

It does include last night's game. I am guessing you are thrown off by it only showing us with 20 wins when we actually have 21. The reason for that is that Midwestern State is not D1 so they do not count for RPI.

Wow Cincy all the way down to No. 47 in RPI-SMU dropped to No. 24 after Cincy loss. Tulsa no longer a Top 50 victory as they now sit at No. 51. Temple No. 31 coming into tough road trip at SMU at Tulsa

Is it possible to increase our rpi by losing to some of these borderline top 50s? I would never recommend it but is such a scenario possible? I am RPI illiterate.

I understand where the question comes from, but it is not possible.

But it's going to be hard to increase or decrease our RPI from here on, correct?
