If they are close enough to the school they certainly can be hostile - last year in Louisville it didn't impact us since they were in the other session - but the Kentucky fans completely dominated that city for the weekend. Kentucky fans are an extreme, but it's possible. Regardless, I would rather not be out West vs a Pac team if we had a choice (which we obviously don't).

Yeah Vigina Tech then Baylor would be a good draw for sure - then the Florida/Creighton winner? Not a bad opportunity for a 7 seed which I am starting to think is pretty much our destiny at this point.
If SMU wins rest of games, and loses in finals to Cincy, they are a 5 seed; They win the tourney, they will be a 4. Have to lose 1 of last 3, or a tourney game to non UH or Cincy to drop to 7.
We'd be lucky to get a 5 seed based on the way the NCAA will look at it. Not really NCAA bashing its just our resume does not have the bells and whistles they are going to use against us. After all-We are one of the few Top 25 teams to be kept out of the Tournament-and if we hadn't won 19 out of 20 we'd probably be on the Bubble again
