Boise easily won their MW opener over Colorado St last night.
USC plays a pretty good Washington team tonight.
Arizona plays #3 Arizona St Saturday. Think that is a big game? Cheapest ticket on Stubhub is $200.

Zona needs to hand ASU their 1st defeat. That would really help our resume

Watching Tulsa and East Carolina. Yikes. Kansas State must be WAY down this year if they lost to this same Tulsa team. Both look extremely soft and unathletic.

Not 100% sold on Tulane yet, but they are def at least a mid-pack team. could push for top 5. Frazier is legit.

Tulane will be competitive and we should not assume we are going to sweep them this year. The AAC is full of programs that can beat SMU on any given night

This.
Tulane is on an upward path and playing in that tiny gym is never easy. Used to be that their ΓÇ£mobΓÇ¥ would just leave at halftime when their team got down by 20. Looks like that will change.
I watched the whole game. They are pretty good, have some depth and Dunleavy is a good ΓÇ£game coach.ΓÇ¥
The most amazing thing to me? The big guy, Paul, has just been a big, uncoordinated stiff the past two years. Now he can play. Whoever developed him is a really good coach.
Trap game coming.... we’ve struggled in the past in NOLA

And Temple? Typical.
You never know which Temple will show up:
Temple U or Temple JR High.

Disappointing night:
Temple continues to be Jekyll and Hyde, which doesn't do the conference any favors. Dunphy is a lousy in-game coach.
Memphis lost to a very mediocre LSU team at home.
Northern Iowa lost their conference opener at home to Southern Illinois. That one really stings.
On the plus side, Houston blew out South Florida (we need them to be good with Temple being so up and down) and Western Kentucky won their conference opener over La Tech.

Agree with Sadder... at Tulane next Thursday has trap game written all over it considering we play at Cincy just three days later.

We trailed Tulane by 15 at home at halftime last year. Hopefully we have a little respect for them.
