So, the horns or the aggies? Who ya got?

I'm rooting for the Aggies. I see them winning as potentially helping us more.

What? No. Aggies are a potential bid-stealer. Whorns are already in and are the better outcome for SMU.

Conflicted on this one...if Texas wins, they get Georgia, and I think Georgia does them again...somehow...

If Aggies do the Horns, UT gets a slightly lower seeding, but are in regardless. Aggies could oust Georgia in the SEC championship.

Since I dislike the Whorns only marginally less than Baylor, Go Ags...

ACC is maybe back to one bid regardless, but itΓÇÖs insane to root for another $EC team to create a chance to make it in. And I hate UT as much as anyone.

I've been called worse than "insane"...

Whorns need to win this game so Aggie$ have no chance to steal a bid. With SC beating Clemson today and all the highly ranked SEC teams winning their games, there's a nightmare scenario shaping up for the ACC and Big XII where one of the championship game winners could finish outside the 4 highest ranked champions (behind media darling Boise) and outside the Top 12 and miss out all together on the CFP. Hard to imagine one of the Power 4 conference champions not earning an invitation but next Tuesday's rankings will be interesting to watch. Right now it appears 4 Big 10 teams are a lock, Notre Dame is in and as many as 6 SEC teams are in play. Assuming Boise wins the MWC championship game, it's looking like the Big XII and ACC will do well to get one team in from each conference. Not sure I like our chances of an at-large bid if we lose to Clemson, who lost to the only 2 SEC teams they played this year.

We gave to win to get in.

Hated this scenario where both Miami and Clemson losing. It may knock the ACC down back to a 1 bid league which will placate the SEC.

Worried that if we donΓÇÖt win against Clemson, which will almost be a home game for them, we will be left out again by the committee. No margin for error.

SMU cannot continue with the miscues and sloppy play. Need to put in a dominant performance to win.

Leave no option for the committee to screw us again.

It would seem Arizona State has this one in hand....

Some happy Sun Devils staying with us this weekend. Fun to see Army win last night though Boise's win will shut the AAC out of the playoffs.

So if Carson Beck is done for the year, does that mean Georgia doesn't make the playoffs?

UMHB wins on the road 28-18 over Linfield. Division 3 3rd round. My daughter is pleased...
