Comming from atlanta, one of the TRUE crime capitals of the country, dallas seems like a utopia! walk around dallas during the day, then walk around atlanta during the day and then you judge what a reall dangerous city really is. As for fort worth, who cares, other then the stock yards its beneath me.....

I just don't get it. Are there SMU people on the TCU board right now? I just don't know why the UNT'ers, Texas Staters, Sam Houston people and froggies come on here. I have no desire to go to a TCU or A&M or Tulsa or Houston mesage board and talk about SMU. It is just a foreign concept to me.

I am aware that things change in time, but 20 some odd years ago I was a private investigator working on a civil suit on behalf of T. Cullen Davis in respect to the Mansion murders in Ft Worth. I got to go to some pretty seedy areas to interview some pretty shady characters. I would not have even begun to list Ft Worth as a "safe" community at that time. I honestly feared for my life on several occasions.
