Why does he need to be classy? He OWNS the team. He can do whatever the hell he wants. That's what having that much power and money affords you.
He doesn't need to be classy or do anything that he doesn't want to for that matter. Thats what having a "F*** You Rich" attitude is all about. However, that lack of class and the way he carries himself is plenty enough for anyone to justify not having respect for the guy. And frankly, I agree.
Nonetheless Cuban does not strike me as a guy who is out to earn everyon'es respect, so I am sure he won't be losing any sleep at night over the handfull of ponyfans that think poorly of him. Besides, seems like he is plenty of supporters losing that sleep for him on this board.

The media loves him because he makes an [deleted] of himself on a regular basis and thats good copy, and since when were Goobers and Doofuses precluded from being wealthy.
Sure, he can do whatever he wants, that's part of being an owner. He still looks and acts like a complete dufus. Hey, that is my opinion...so be it.
Did anyone happen to see the old Mark Cuban show? OR does anyone read his blog. He is obviously innovate and insightful, just over the top. If anyone wrongs him, he whines in his blog the next day, its very childish. (when he knows the attention his blog gets). His remarks about Trump, Barkley, etc....
HOWEVER, he has done wonders and learned as he has gone along.
He can be nutty but thank god he is our nut.............Is there a chance he can entice Ben Wallace to come here for Van Horn's slot which I think is around 15MM?????????? I'm not sure how the cap works but with that addition, we might be in for a Laker - like 3 year run..........
Hey who cares about this Bay of Pigs Cuban crap? C'mon??? It should be Dirk, Dirk, Dirk, and more Dirk that we should be talking about in this thread. Oh and predicitions on the series... yeah, that and throw in a little Mustang context...

I post from time to time on a Mavs forum and used to write a Mavs blog, but gave most of that up for SMU. I picked the Mavs in 5 over Memphis; the Mavs in six over San Antonio; and the Mavs in six over Phoenix, going so far after Game 1 to pick the Mavs to win Games 2, 3, 5 and 6.
I think the Mavs beat the Heat, but I have reservations. And those reservations are basically Shaq’s big butt. If Shaq can put seven games together where he plays like the Shaq of 2001-2003 and gets the calls that he got then, the Mavs can’t win. But the reality is I don’t think Shaq can do that, if for the rules changes if nothing else.
Still, can Shaq go off and perform better than Duncan did in that series? I don’t think so. The Heat need Shaq to score 20-30; the Mavs don’t need their centers to score at all.
As for Wade, can Wade and Williams be better than Parker and Ginobli? Again, I just don’t see it. Statistically, the numbers just don’t add up. Wade will get the double team; you couldn’t double Ginobli or Parker. And one on one, I think Howard can effectively guard Wade in stretches.
The Mavs will try and force the ball into Walker, Haslem or Williams’ hands. Williams, Walker and Haslem won’t beat the Mavs.
And again, who guards Howard? Everyone in the media forgets about Howard. I guess the duty falls to Antoine Walker. The Heat will quickly realize that is a terrible mistake. Every series in the Mavs playoff run, the opposing team started their best one on one defender on Dirk. Later in the series, every opposing team played at least one game with their best one on one defender on Howard because Howard was killing them.
Mavs win in Six. Win Games one, three, four and six.

I think you will find that Posey matches up on D against Howard for most of the series. He will play big minutes for the Heat bc he is as close to a defensive minded player as they have and has a nice combo of size, athleticisim and speed. My bigger concern is in regards to Dirk....
Haslem will be the one to gaurd Dirk for most of the Finals I would guess, but my question there is who gaurds Dirk when Haslem is on the bench??? I would have to guess you will see (gulp) Walker gaurding him bc he has some length and is fairly quick, but certainly not known as a defensive stopper. I wouldn't be shocked to see Shandon Anderson play more minutes. He could guard Howard giving Posey a chance to take a crack at Dirk.
It will be interesting to see how this series plays out.
I know. I never thought I'd be contemplating how DJ Mbenga's suspension would affect Avery's strategy, but it hurts 'cause he would have six fouls to give.

If the Mavs have Mbenga (or another scrub like him) in the game, then they are either past the point of winning or so far ahead that the scrubs are in. Let's hope the latter is true.

If Posey were that good on defense, they'd put him on Dirk. He's taller and bigger than Bowen was.
