Something to keep in mind is that Orsini was the Director of Administration for the Cowboys during the Jimmy Johnson and Butch Davis years including the 1992 and 1993 Super Bowls. Wonder if there have been any recent conversations?

Chizik is probably the top assistant coach candidate in the country to land a head coaching job. No way he considers SMU. He will wait it out until he gets an offer from a top notch BCS program.

Why on EARTH would anyone with a pedigree come to this COACHING GRAVEYARD??? HUH??? Where on EARTH would SMU come up with the $5Million+ it would take to get someone like this? Maybe Mustang57%42SMU could have a lemonade stand and donate the proceeds. Yea, yea--neato, mosquito!!

Look, give Philly and the boys just 2 or 3 more years to "turn this team around." He is too nice a guy to just fire for not producing wins. At least let's see if he can produce a few wins at the end of the season to give SMU some momentum going into next year. Remember...THERE'S ALWAYS NEXT YEAR!
