Gotcha. It was just starting to get to me, I guess. Had to vent a little. It didn't matter which topic I went to, he had his bucket of water to dampen the enthusiasm. I think we all know it probably isn't the 25th or 21st or whatever best recruiting class, but the mere fact that SMU was mentioned is fantastic progress. And like it or not, recruits look at those listings as well. Has to help us.

I'm sorry you're only good in math. If you knew how to read you could look at historical stats and you'd know we have not been to a bowl game in twenty years nor an NCAA tourney in over ten. That's reality. Deal with it.

Not a good analogy, stang. I can understand how you can get confused with all the negativity swirling around in your head, but we were discussing the relative merits of the present recruiting class. What has gone on in the past has no relevance at all. One has nothing to do with the other. Except in your little world, I suppose.

Well then you truly are reading-impaired, mathie. As I said earlier in this thread, this is as good a class as could be expected under the circumstances, and that Doherty did a great job. You're so paranoid about people disagreeing with you that you have a hard time seeing agreements with you. Wonder why that is.
Stallion wrote:look there are about 1,000 fans on this site that will giggle and say everything you want to hear like we heard in 2002 when many on this board lathered up about a bogus list that had Dontas Raskascas as one of the Top 12 Centers in his recruiting Class. I believe my words were the "Top half of this class is pretty darn good" considering the situation-that is pretty high praise coming from me. I also said HoopScoop is a reputable recruiting source in their ratings of players which means their rankings of Dia and Harp especially lend credibility to this class. I'm about the 10th person on this board and many others on other boards who have questioned the methodology of their team rankings. Come back in 4 years and prove me wrong. I rarely am. This ain't a Top 25 Class. Top 25 Classes aren't filled with kids averaging 5.2, 8.4 and 7.8 ppg.
I am sorry... but they don't have prizes for the recruiting Guru of Ponyfans.com. I'm sure it impresses the ladies at Cool River though. I'll be sure and login in 2010 for ya.

...Cool River huh? I thought it was Red River. Is Stallion moving to a higher class proving ground?
That part of Las Colinas was my haunt when the most happening thing was a Wendy's.

I see what you mean. I tried, and alas, failed. Pretty dizzy right now. Jtstang seems to have a logic block.
See you at the game.

I'd say that Stallion/JTStang have underestimated our teams far fewer times than people have overestimated them while complaining about negitivity.
