I too would like to know what the new total is. Hopefully we're at least in triple digits by now.

Please help me out.

It says the most I can purchase is 10. But when I attempt to buy them, I get an error that says there are not enough at this price?

What gives?

I just went to buy 10 tickets, and it only let me buy three...better than none I guess, but I sure would have liked to have gotten all 10 I was hoping for.

I tried to buy 10 and it wouldn't let me; I tried again and it would.

I went back and it said there were 9 available. i bought nine and it worked. I went back to buy more and it says they are all sold.

I'll buy more if it will let me and will find people to attend, but I would like to have tickets in hand or an order confirmation before inviting people.

UPDATE - I logged out and logged back in and it said 12 were available. Apparently that number fluctuates and is the maximum you can buy at that moment. Maybe they are trying to get more service charges out of us. Unfortunately, my two groups will be split unless we can find enough seats together.

Great idea PFers!!! 15 seats purchased by me so far. - 7 claimed to date.

I think they are "releasing" 15 tickets at a time for the promotion. I don't think they will run out.

The confirmation email said to pick these up at the Moddy Colleseum will call window. Is that accurate? I'm in for 4 but I'm going to be VERY late for the game.

Pretty sure that is wrong adn we pick them up at Ford, unless they unwittingly sold us a lot of tickets to a basketball game on February 28th.

I picked up all 16 of mine today at the will call window at Ford Stadium.

If anyone was not able to get tickets and needs them, let me know. I'm not sure if I will use all 16.

ALSO POSTED ON THE PONY FANS SPECIAL THREAD:

I sent out this e-mail to everyone at my company on Wednesday:

"Hello all:

I have ten (10) extra SMU football tickets for this Saturday's game (11/18/06) at 2:00 PM against the Tulsa Golden Hurricane with SMU becoming bowl eligible with a win.

The tickets are free to anyone on a first come/first served basis, however, please do not take them unless you will use them.

The weather forecast is for 67 degrees and sunny, so it should be a great day for football. Here is the ling for more info: http://smumustangs.cstv.com/sports/m-fo ... meday.html

Please reply if you are interested.

Thanks"

All ten have been spoken for.

SMU should do this a few times each year, but not every game (Tulsa, Houston, Rice, UTEP seem like good opportunities). I know a lot of non-fans who think that this is a great cheap fun day, but they are only up for it once or twice a year. I had five or six replies from people who wanted to go but had plans.

In any case, it's pretty cool that I will be responsible for an additional 10 "butts in the seats" for my massive $15.00 outlay.
