Maybe -- hard to say. I've heard the same thing, through some alums who donate enough to get closer to connected people than I do, but I have heard no confirmation.

Well the new Director of Marketing ran track at SMU circa 1977-1981-I'm sure you have willing listener there. I'd like to see track return. There is a small but significant group of kids that this will matter to in recruiting football players. Of course, I hope it doesn't hurt our Rowing, Equestrian, Cow Tipping, Bullfighting and/or Bird Watching teams that Copeland brought us.

Not only do I appreciate it, but Bird Watching is big here in Arkansas with the return of the Ivory Billed Woodpecker from believed extinction. We could get a team together and have a built in rivalry with and SEC team. I bet our RPI would soar (pardon the pun).

Pony Pride-check the third post of this thread for more track times-finished 2nd in 4A in the 200 Meters. The best time I had found in the 100 Meters was 10.61 so 10.54 is even better. I also found 21.44 in the 200 Meters. He's a little small but he's what your looking for at Inside Receiver. I'm surprised he didn't get more play just based on his speed alone.

Hopefully he can catch the ball. He sounds just as fast as Jesse Henderson, and that is real fast.
