You guys used to blame the poor free throwing on coaching whether it was Dement or Tubbs. Not saying i think it has much at all to do with Doherty, its just funny thats all.

Disappointing end to a disappointing year. Was hopeful for a win or two after their performance on Saturday...but they never showed up today.

Man, do you have a chip on your shopulder or what. Tubbs vs Doherty for the 1254th time is no longer interesting.

Actually the poor free throw shooting goes back farther than that, alot of Shumates teams couldnt shoot free throws to save their lives. The 1993 team that went to NCAA tournament were awful free throw shooters, free throws literally cost us the first round game against BYU. Its been a long, long time.

What a shame, was a very winnable game, defense was good but SMU shot poorly from the paint and from the three point line...Bad freethrow shooting including misses on every 1 and 1 we attempted. Missed some easy layups and fumbled several key rebounds away.

Oh well, look forward to getting Dez, Killen, Bamba and Roberts back next year with our talented class of freshman coming in......

Much thanks to Ike, Rack, and Pearson...I really enjoyed watching you guys play these last 4 years....hope to see you guys on the hilltop from time to time in the future.

And there are drills and exercises that can help, too. I guess coaches are afraid of messing with a guy's shot when he gets to this level.

I support Doherty. just lamenting a situation and pointing out some board irony. If you have spent any time at all on here over the years, you have seen the blame game play out over and over.
