How is it any different from when you call people idiots and morons on this board?
I agree, though. I don't care for any shirt that says "(Fill in the blank) Sucks!"

You only get about four years in life to do really stupid, self centered, but arguably fun things with really bad decision making skills. Enjoy them. Who cares if it's childish and immature. It's fun. One day I'm gonna wake up and be too old to get hammered and talk [deleted] to kids from a rival school, and I'll act accordingly.
Probably makes me look like a drunken moron who just thinks the shirts are cool. I don't give a damn, it's harmless and fun.

Not nearly enough. Counting the band, maybe a thousand or so give or take a couple of hundred.
You must have triple vision or something. Apart from your band, there were maybe 150-200 SMU fans there. Unless 700-800 other SMU types were dressed on purple, it's simply not possible based on the grandstand space they occupied that a thousand Pony fans were at the game.
You are insane! 150-200? The SMU ticket office had sold 700 by Thursday, then we sent them back. I sat around row 45 in section S, and there were SMU folks scattered all the way to the top of sections S and T. I was watching the tape of the game last night, and early in the third quarter, the camera had a pretty good shot of the SMU section, I would say at least 1,000 to 1,200. That is still terrible, for as close as we are to Ft. Worth.

Careful - sound logic isn't always accepted too ... logically.

Amen. I would do the same thing if I could get away with it and if it wouldn't leave me with a week-long hangover. But you're exactly right - it's harmless and fun.

ahhh buddy! Let's move on to the next topic. If we are arguing about whether SMU had 1,200 or 150 fans then it really doesn't look good either way. My estimate was that TCU brought at the very least 8 times more fans to Ford last year. I thought it was closer to about 1,000 fans FWIW
Why did they bring fans to SMU games last year? Was it all at one game or did they just happen to come over when they got bored. Now, two years ago they did bring a lot of fans for the SMU-TCU game, but it has been that way ever since TCU started having success. I'm honestly not surprised, and wouldn't be surprised that if TCU had the recent history of SMU they would bring many fewer to the SMU TCU games in Dallas.
