meets all criteria, certainly not obvious. dont want him tho

You are right. Played QB at West Texas. Coached at A&M. QB coach in the NFL. At a BCS program program with a disenchanted fan base in Louisville.

I think he would be a great choice. Recruits Dallas like a madman and was headcoach at Tulsa in a situation extremely similar to that of SMU.

And the writer said send shock waves thru C-USA, which I always wondered why he limited it to just C-USA......but Louisville was in CUSA. And Tulsa.....

Ladies and gentlemen, with all of the attributes listed before us, may I introduce you to our new coach: GUY MORRISS...

Went and played at TCU...Played for the Patriots and the Eagles (NFL)...

He coached high school ball at Mansfield High...

I don't want him...Neither does Baylor...

So happy this blog figured it out for us...Where would we be without this useless information???Thanks for the inside information...

Doesn't say he graduated from college in Texas, just that he went to college in Texas. Any of these names transfer before graduating?

We have a winner...He fits every piece to the speculation...Will the webmaster please pull this thread??? Don't want to loose out on our only chance to get a quality head coach...Seriously...Make this go away before the stupid people on this site start calling President Turner, Orsini, the Louisville papers and the DMN...

Proven winner and recruiter in our conference...

Can't see how this would create a splash. Since it's common knowledge he's out, how could his name coming out possibly screw the pooch.

I think a coach at a big football school (or has been in the last few years)leaving after one year would be your splash...Not so much the name...

what did SMU throw?

I wouldn't be terribly upset with Kragthorpe, he did a pretty good job at Tulsa, he won at least one CUSA championship there.

On a side note, anybody need a patent attorney?
