No, No, No, Thad. You are on record for "Butch Davis." If you do not think it is Butch Davis, speak now or forever hold your piece. (Yes, I meant piece not peace.)

I like how you used "quotes" there.

And no, it's not Pete Carroll.

I'm on the record for AppleBowden! ;)

To those who live in the M-Streets:

Does anyone know exactly when Lloyd Carr started delivering the mail on Merrimac?

Quotation marks were unintentional. Butch or no Butch? Put up or well, you know. (You have an out...take it. :) )

If he's on the record, why does he need to go on the record again?? From what I've seen, Butch Davis has not denied anything, so he's still in play.

Thad, can you at least tell us if it is a name that has been discussed on PF or if it's someone that we haven't thought of (like with the Doherty hire)?

No, you're right. I just want to give him the opportunity to say "I don't think it is Butch Davis" if that is what he really thinks since he has implied it was Davis previously from the whole "it would be perfect" story about the Austin airport. But he wrote this just a few posts ago, which seems to suggest he is NOT on record for Butch Davis...

Dwan came on in with a thread, I think it was on Friday.... saying our new coach was chosen. Gave hints as to who it was.... and I knew who he was talking about.

So if Dwan is correct, and - looking back - I certainly haven't found him to be wrong, then yes I do know who the new coach is.

Well, there can only be one record. Are you saying he was never really on it to begin with?

Oh, no. He's on the record, all right.
