yeah but Armstrong was a 3 star kid that's had all kinds of offers to play as an athlete all across the field. Rice was the only school that wanted him at QB-that's why he went to Rice. SMU offered as an athlete probably Receiver.

I'm aware of his talent but he was not known to be a good passer and yet he did well last year with basically one top receiver. Something right got done there last year and quickly.

Oh your talking about his QB play. For most of the year he was a very productive receiver for them until Chase Clement got hurt. As for his passing he basically just threw jump balls that Dilliard went up and got. SMU's DB was right there every time.
