Well we even gave TCU their only loss one year the week after beating OU. Hawaii going to Sugar Bowl is way bigger than having Bama beat LSU or A&M beating Texas.

Jones started at Hawaii in 1989, taking the 0-11 club he inherited to nine wins his first season, the largest turnaround in NCAA history. THIS COULD BE US!!

Where was Hayden Fry before he came to the Hilltop? JJ will be a solid hire, but come on, Fran would be a WOW, as well, and maybe a better fit.

Fran did less with way more than he would get at the Hilltop in the near future, no question about that, sure he beat tex, but he couldnt get anywhere with A&M, he was a dissapointment down there, thats the bottom line.
A&M has a huge budget, money isnt a problem, this program is being rebuilt, and JJ has done it in Hawaii, Fran scares the crap out of me with the news letter fiasco, what a moron, doesnt that cause questions from ya?
Besides, Fran had a solid QB down there, and screwed it up, kid threw the ball all over the place in HS and all of a sudden A&M wouldnt throw it at all, until he got fired, see a pattern here?
He doesnt make good game decisions, like why wouldnt you give JLane the ball 20+ a game? Thats some of why JJ is a good hire, and not Fran!
