Perhaps you should start charging a donation and use it to help for the Asst coaches Somewhat Smaller But still a Circle of Champions.

Guess. Just an amalgamation of what I have heard everyone talking about. Simple, but harkens back to the Pony Express Days

And if, if, AND ONLY IF, you just had to have a special occasion jersey....I pause because this how we got saddled with the recent red jerseys. They were special, at first...you could do a red jersey.

But I would reject the notion completely given the choice...USC, Texas, etc. don't have them. LSU, Georgia will trot them out very, very, VERY sporadically.

Got to say I prefer a darker blue as well. Never have been a big fan of royal blue.

As far as red goes, no shade lighter than what our jerseys are today. A bit darker would be great. Crimson might be a bit dark, unless of course we are talking the whole jersey, then it would rock!

As long as we keep our logo and go back to the white helmet with red pony and red and blue stripes I have no problem alternating between red and blue jerseys similar to Miami. I think we should wear the blue jersey for 5 games and the red 1 game each season. Also I like the red numbers on the road whites. I just hope we pick a shade of red and a shade of blue and stick to it.

Candy stripe helmet, with a white pony (outlined in blue) on one side, with a blue pony on the other side.

If we had a dollar for every picture taken with the manneqin we could
possibly be in the "Circle of Champions".

How about the Oval of Champions until then?

I can live with those but prefer the 60's or 30's - early 50's.
BRING BACK THE GLORY DAYS OF SMU FOOTBALL!!!

For some strange reason, one of the few universities that REFUSE to use their school colors: Harvard Crimson & Yale Blue.

Here is an option with the crimson. I like black shoes, white laces, and short white socks. White shoes look 70's & 80's, which were not good for uniforms in general. Yes, there were a few exceptions, obviously.
