I have always liked Baylor and felt they and SMU shared a kind of kindred spirit. I can not blame them for getting into the Big 12.
Now, if you want a list of my most hated Democratic, female Governors, from the State of Texas, Ms. Richards would be a the top.

SMU and Baylor DO NOT share a kindred spirit. I'd butt pump a three week dead timberwolf before I'd ever consider attending that school.

I am sorry you interpreted my statement as asking you to attend there. Please leave the timberwolves be.

No worries man. Its just that that school creeps me the hell out. I've had friends/relatives that went there and it wasn't pretty. Plus SMU is in Dallas and Baylor is in Waco. Can't get much more different than that.

1. TCU - no explanation needed
2. OU - I hate that Texas kids go there to play...makes me sick
3. A&M - what have they ever really done?
4. Baylor - weaseled their way in the Big XII and has gotten them nowhere
5. Tulsa - again, I hate that we lose TX kids to a school in Oklahoma

If you had been around in the old SWC days you would have experienced how SMU,TCU, Baylor and Rice we belittled by the big guys all the time. Now, as Stallion has pointed out often, the privates did not really carry their fair share of the load so the belittling may have been justified somewhat, but still you felt a bonding as a small private versus the big guys. Kind of like BCS vs. Midmajor today.

Maybe they deserve it more than we do. How many winning football seasons have they had over the last twenty years?
Their cricket team is amazing. They really know how to use the sticky wicket.
I hear they have an excellent badminton program.

I'm going to use this new descriptive quote. It has great potential.

Great. They must be ahead of us in the Sears Cup too.
