Interesting that the parking lot behind Dallas Hall is labeled "planned development". I wonder what they want to put there.

That is just a zoning term that you request as part of a larger approval process. i.e. ask for a zoning change on parcel x and throw parcel y and z in the mix for a PD. a PD incorporates very broad language requested by the property owner to open up to many future uses.

most likely the PD will allow permitted uses, in this case i will assume: campus classrooms, dormatory facilities, parking garage, etc...

it's just a way to save yourself from having to go to P&Z again.
