Buddy, I drive through there at least once a day. It is hideous. And nothing matches anything else. The new student center is going to be a behemoth, but doesn't excuse the fact that every building that has been built within the last 10 years (possibly longer, but I never paid attention when I was in high school) looks like the rest of the campus was ignored when it was designed.
Ditto. But I will say they did a great job of working something out with Barnes & Noble for their new bookstore on the corner of Berry and University. I haven't been in it, but it looks pretty good.
Wherever we put our new one with Barnes & Noble, we should do something like that -- of course, better.

We can multitask. Perhaps you should spend your time finding a way to build stadiums that will not fall down.

Perhaps you should spend more time finding a way to go to a bowl game...

I would make a deal with the devil for a bowl game........as long as it did not entail the swapping of campi with TCU.

Clearly, they have never been to Camden Yards.
What they'll be getting will be closer to the Camden, New Jersey of College Football.

Having been to Camden Yards, it is truly a great place to watch a game and has an understated flair to it, that blends so nicely with its surroundings. Right across the parking lot is the Ravens Stadium which looks pretty awful. I am looking forward to going to the new Nats park in the coming weeks. I looks great from what I've seen so far.
As far as TCU is concerned, if you like billeous yellow, then its your kind of place.

Two words...Boog's Barbecue. Enough said. And the gourmet pretzels right inside Eutaw after the 7th inning. Have it down to a science.

These? I only see one.
In fact, last time I checked, we were one of the programs in this country with the fewest runins with tha law.
Maybe you'all should recruit some of those coke addicts.

No we can't recruit coke addicts, Dr. Pepper sponsors SMU football.

We are only a few winning seasons from having everything on these guys.
I drove through the campus just two months ago. I will agree only that it is better - but then it only had one direction it could go - much like our football team.
Unfortunately for them, TCU was stuck with a hideous grouping of original buildings - so instead of starting over they just kept doing more of them to match - or sorta, but not quite match. The original architect must have been an SMU grad playing an ultra-cruel 100 year joke on them. Kind of puts the rye-grass groupies to shame - doesn't it?

Going to bowl games are a lot more fun than preening about one's pretty campus.
But if you wanna get in a [deleted] contest about whose campus is prettier, go right ahead...
We'll come over in September and take a look for ourselves. And then we'll whoop the tar outta you, and head back home.
Enjoy your preening while you can!
