both home and away jerseys.

Stopped by the bookstore this afternoon to 'browse' and see what was available for the new season. All of the 'old'-style jerseys are sold out. None of the employees there knew anything about 'new'-style jerseys becoming available anytime soon. :(

What did it take, four years for them to get replicas of the last style?

If June Jones is a proponent of the "white jerseys for every game" - the Pony Express style - I would enthusiastically support that. You gotta admit that is a classic look. Ron Meyer had the 3-jersey uniform - albeit they had sleeve stripes and no "SMU" (originally). Remember those striped socks?

Stopped by the B&N Bookstore on Mockingbird tonight to buy a new white ball cap for the summer (red Mustang on it with SMU on the back). Lots of new ball caps and other apparel on the racks for the summer and the upcoming football season!

There was a display of SMU mini-helmets near the front of the store. Interestingly, these are the WHITE helmets with the red Mustang and red & blue stripes down the middle. Hadn't seen these for sale in the store before tonight.

The dark blue mini-helmets with the red Mustang on them are also still for sale.

I would imagine the SMU Bookstore feels like it's a krapshoot to commit to ordering a large quantity of replica jerseys and mini-helmets since our uniform has been constantly changing (for the worse). I'll bet there will be considerable interest in the June Jones jerseys and helmets. When those are debuted, the other leftover stuff ought to be loaded up and sent back to China or given to the children under the viaduct. Coach Jones will have us looking D1 again.

That's because they expect SMU grads to know everything already! ;)

and for the love of God no more navy blue on the uni's!!!...our colors are not navy blue and red, they are royal blue and red...what do you think would happen if UT decided to thrown some 'cuse orange in there with the burnt? or OU put some regular red in there with the crimson!?!? ....most likely there would be a few assassinations to ensure that everything stayed right where it was...

white helmets with the red pony...red, white, and royal uni's...a teams image is just as important as how good it is, watching a winner with crappy uni's dulls the quality of the experience for me.

there's the "problem". Our school colors are not Royal Blue-I really find that tiresome that we really care about preserving our traditional dark blue color. Its TOO dark especially in a High Definition age. I'd rather we looked sharp which we did with the Classic 1980s Blue Jersey with Red Mustang on a White Helmut

My Dad went to Yale Law School-Yale Blue is about as dark as it gets.
