Weren't you one of the guys bashing them last year for the pony up campaign?
You knew the answer to that question before you asked it, jt.
Jeez, sorry, but is a little consistency from year to year too much to ask?
I find it best to not expect consistancy but be pleasantly surprised if it occurs.

Welcome back mrydel. I'm sure Vegas is a little bit richer for your visit.

I am very embarassed to admit that the only machine that paid out any money for me was the ATM. I came very close to having to sell your seat at Ford.

Nice to see what a motivated individual with some stencils and paint can do
I'm underwhelmed.

Precisely what I thought, too, PonySoprano. And there's where I question the mindset over at The Richards Group. This is another advertisement where the Mustangs' advertising agency uses the team's past problems/troubles, etc. in a manner that continues to keep those situations in the public's mind. Is that good or bad advertising?
For example, here is the ad from last season:

Should the Mustangs continue to 'poke fun' at themselves for their past problems, as well as keeping those problems in the minds of the loyal fans, and the new fans they're trying to bring into Ford Stadium? Is it good advertising or bad advertising? Just something for discussion.

jtstang wrote:Jeez, sorry, but is a little consistency from year to year too much to ask?
That's a question that many Mustang fans have been asking since 1988.

1) Can't hide from your past
2) Gotta be able to laugh at yourself
3) We have been consistent since 1988, consistently bad.

I was thinking that this years campaign might go with:
1. F@#K the Swinging Gate!
2. No More Aggies Coaching, Ever!
3. We Suck Less!!!
