The guy who used to brew for Two Rows has opened his own brewery in McKinney, Franconia Brewery, but I think they only do kegs right now - forbidden on the boulevard.

They sell his brew at the Fillmore Pub in downtown Plano. Good stuff - hopefully he starts bottling it soon.

That's a rule that needs to be changed. A keg on the 'vard would be tremendous.

It might as well have a plaque on it. The ThadBeers Memorial Ice Chest.

Those really look sharp, you guys continue to outdo yourselves. I might even have to throw some cash in a tip jar.

Seriously, though, you guys should look to get a beer sponsor, cut down on costs. I don't know if there is anything local in Dallas other than brewpubs (Two Rows and Humperdink's ... I guess growlers could work).... but seriously, I'd put a call in to some Texas beers Shiner, Independence, etc. Maybe with JJ in town, and the picture of the 'Vard (the ant of people) you could get Independence to sponsor, I don't know how much of a footprint Independence has in Dallas, but really, they'd just make you put up a banner and give you free beer if they went for it. Just a suggestion.

Then again, you might be taking away valuable "eye catching" space for Special Delivery.

If it was a memorial ice chest, wouldn't that mean you have to be dead?

Ahh, you see I thought about that.... that's why I said "ThadBeers" rather than "ThadFilms" - figuring "ThadBeers" would suggest that it be a memorial to the beers I kill. I'm a ferocious hunter.

Franconia is on tap at Trinity Hall right now, for those looking for a round. INCREDIBLY good hefeweizen. Similar to Franziskaner without the clove/banana-y taste.

It's also a 100% all natural, no preservatives beer. It's really good.

So I did a quick google search to find out how SMU defines "keg", and came across this, which I had forgotten about:

[quote]3.01(e) SMU is located within the city of University Park, Texas, which is a “dryâ€
