I don't know how old Stallion is, but based on his message board persona, this is the type of cougar he would take home

Ah well said sir! I also have adopted the same no expectations idea for this season but as you have pointed out it also seems to have applications outside of being a ponyfan. The next time I hit up Milo's or any other establishment I may just take the jtstang approach. I've learned something today!
Larry Brown? We have Larry Brown? Cool!

Haven't we been hearing that for close to 20 years?

The old way of doing things at SMU is out the window.

ummm not really, 2nd time in 3 years we have had a true freshman start...and i have a feeling we have had a bad habit f doingo this to underclassman with disastrous results in the past.

WE ARE BACK wrote:There will be plenty of growing pains this year, but just think about BLM two years from now as a junior along with our '09 O-Line recruits in place to protect him. Hopefully we will look back and say the decision was well worth it.

Grandma hopes BLM is still playing QB for the Mustangs as a junior and senior.

Willis...i think it was stallion who pointed out that there have been half a dozen other QB's over the last 10 years that have done that same thing and burned out early cuz the pressure to preform while not fully understanding the offense was too much
