The left has forced the divisive issues by installing activist judges who read into the constitution ideas that no elected official would have dared touch. But I agree that the concepts of fiscal responsibility and limited government have unfortunately taken a bit of the back seat. It's my biggest disappointment with the Bush administration. Well, that and torture -- something that is the antithesis of what this country is all about.
