If it weren't for complaining and whining what would there be to talk about this year? We could talk about how we kicked Texas State's rear, but we barely beat them. Hmm, how well our QB is doing for a true freshman. We could talk about being gay at SMU-oops we've done that already. We could talk about the best place for burgers, pizza, or scoping out chix. We could just skip this site altogether, and go serve food to the homeless.

How on earth do you figure that? East's post was well written, concise and on point. He wouldn't last a day on the Hill!

Adrenal fatigue syndrome. We get whipped up into a frenzy during the summer just knowing this is the year... the year we finally break out, turn the corner and return to not only winning but national prominence. We are high on an overload of natural adrenaline. This frenzy puts a huge physiological strain on our already hypertrophied adrenal glands. Once the season starts and we realize this is not the year, we have adrenal shutdown which denies us any adrenaline and we simple go into depression for the rest of the season.

This is a scientific fact which explains the negative, cynical, whinny, and sarcastic poster. However, since there is deviation in the population, we have a few that do not experience adrenal fatigue and continue to be positive and upbeat. This is Sunshiners Syndrome.

No one ever says,' It's only a game' when their team is winning.

I did run for County Supervisor once against a 7 term incumbent. Lost the election, but had a lot of fun dishing it out. 28 years of record to run against, gives one lots of ammo including 28 years in office. Funny, my slogan was "Its time for a change". Where have I heard that one before? Of course I did not master the you betcha, golly gee or eye winks I saw last night. But it was fun but exhausting. I couldn't shake hands for a month after the election due to shaking so many hands.
