First, I don't think the SEC is overrated. SEC schools are not invincible. But top to bottom the SEC is the strongest conference in the country. The Alabama loss was shocking (though very cool) and South Carolina beat themselves, but I would argue that the Georgia/Mich. State and LSU/Gerogia Tech results are more in keeping with typical SEC performance against other conferences.

Second, the MWC has no chance of entering the BCS as it is currently structured. The BCS is not about wins and losses or quality of teams (although they like to claim it is). The BCS is about money, TV, and schools that bring tens of thousands of fans to almost any game they play. The MWC has some good teams that deserve to be highly ranked. But the for the most part the MWC doesn't bring much to the table in the three categories that count. Adding Boise State doesn't change much there. I love Idaho. But it is a zilch TV market.

Now its of course possible that the BCS could be scrapped or restructured in a way that would permit greater access to the current non-BCS programs. As it is set up right now though, it is a members-only club that isn't accepting new members.

there should be no such thing that is called or that slightly references the "BCS"
