Grill on the Alley parent delisting
02:25 PM CDT on Tuesday, March 17, 2009

Grill Concepts Inc., parent company of the Grill on the Alley chain, said Tuesday that it will voluntarily delist from the Nasdaq Wednesday, in part because of the high cost of remaining a pubic company.
Grill Concepts, which operates seven high-end restaurants under the Grill on the Alley brand and 24 casual Daily Grill restaurants, said it expects to trade over the counter after that.
The company said it was “taking these steps to avoid the substantial and increasing cost of being an SEC-reporting company and of regulatory compliance under the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002.â€
