Mississippi.
So Tech had no other conference losses?

Tech's only loss was to Oklahoma by like a billion points in Norman.
Oklahoma's only loss was to Texas by 10 points at a neutral field.
Texas' only loss ws to Texas Tech by like 4-5 points in Lubbock.
If we're going to compare losses, then I think Texas' is the most because Tech basically scored on the last play of the game to pull it out.

So if OU's games are thrown out and counted as losses, Tech was undefeated in the Big XII and UT had one loss to Tech, so Tech would be the Big XII South Champion would they not? Of course then Missouri would be Big XII Champion because they lost (but now won) to OU in the Conference Championship game since OU had to forfeit. So the champion would be Missouri. Sort of reminds me of the old SWC days.

Tech beat the cows and O.U. beat the crap out of Tech.

College Football Live mentioned that Mack Brown asked the "2008*" to be removed from the entrance today...the same day that UT announced its coaches (not Brown) would be awarded bonuses as if they had won the conference championship

Hard to believe, Mack has won 1 Big 12 Championship in 11 years, while Bob Stoops has won 6 in 10 years.

You're right, and they each have won 1 national championship. Mack is 3-0 in BCS games. Stoops is something like 2-7.

So Stoops has taken Oklahoma to 9 BCS games in 10 years?

Mack Brown has done a great job at Texas. Bob Stoops has done a great job at Oklahoma. I think the alums, fans and administrations at each school are pretty happy with where each program stands.

Gotta give props to Tech, Kansas and Missouri coaching staffs as well for stepping it up a notch. Let's see if they can sustain it.
